Jason’s journey began in 2009 when he enrolled in the University of Nebraska-Lincoln’s Bachelor of Science in Horticulture program. Graduating in 2013 Jason decided to put his knowledge to work when he joined U.S. Lawns in Kansas City.

 

With a desire to learn, Jason decided to acquire an Associate of Applied Science in Turf and Landscapes Management degree from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.

 

With homesickness setting in Jason decided to move back to Omaha, NE and joined our team in March of 2018. Since joining our team he has continued to expand his knowledge of lawn care and lawn maintenance.

 

In addition to his formal education, Jason also holds two important certifications that demonstrate his expertise in the field. He is a Certified Grounds Manager (CGM) through the Professional Grounds Management Society (PGMS), which is a prestigious certification that recognizes professionals who have achieved a high level of knowledge and experience in grounds management.

 

Jason also holds the Principles of Turfgrass Management Certificate from the National Association of Landscape Professionals (NALP). This certificate program covers essential topics such as turfgrass anatomy, soil science, weed control, pest management, and more.
