Our program is a complete 5 step eco-friendly lawn care program applied from March/April through October/November. You can expect treatments approximately every 6 weeks after initial application. Why only a 5-step program when everyone else is selling 6, 7, and even 8 step programs? Because we do not believe in excessive treatments for no other reason than profit. Nebraska lawns do not require more than 5 applications if applying the right products at the right time determined by the health of the turf.
We provide free service calls for customers that are signed up for our complete 5-step lawn care program. Simply call our office at (402) 671-0453 or send us a message via our Contact page, and we will schedule a technician to revisit your lawn and take care of any weeds present.
If we are providing mowing and lawn maintenance for your property in addition to our lawn treatment program, we will likely notice the issue first and take steps to remedy the problem without you ever needing to contact us.
Yes we do. As a courtesy to our customers, and to avoid tracking anything in your home or business, we always blow off excess product from sidewalks, patios, driveways and streets.
Core Aeration loosens the soil to improve the flow of air, water and nutrients to the grass roots. Aerating your lawn also controls thatch build up, relieves compacted soil, and stimulates root development, creating a healthier lawn. Aerating is one of the best things you can do for your lawn annually. Core Aeration also provides the perfect environment for overseeding.
A de-thatch (power rake) is needed when your lawn is matted down or has a lot of dried, brown grass in it. This is done between late March and late April. De-thatching is not required every year, whereas we recommend aerating once per year.
No, landscape weeds are not included with our standard lawn care or lawn maintenance programs. We do however offer landscape maintenance programs which include controlling the weeds in your landscape beds.
At EcoScapes, we believe in over delivering and that is exactly what we do when mowing or maintaining a customer’s lawn. Compare us to the other lawn care companies in town and you will quickly realize EcoScapes delivers so much more. What is included:
The size of mower used is determined by the size of the property, layout of the landscaping, and other details such as a fence or multiple trees. We utilize several different size mowers from 21” push mowers to 48” commercial mowers. Some of our customers prefer we only use 21” residential push mowers and this is available at an additional cost. There is no extra charge if your property is small enough that a commercial mower is not logical.
At EcoScapes, we will only mulch clippings back into the turf and do not offer catching or bagging of grass. The only times we will remove clippings is in the Spring when we want to suck up the loose dead grass and during the fall when there are too many leaves to mulch. Clippings are made up of 80% water and nutrients therefore we fully believe in putting these nutrients back into the soil.
